Constantly getting rejected from jobs sucks ass

I do have a part time job which I hate due to bad experiences with coworkers. But literally no place is hiring me. I’ve got good experience and decent CV, but I’m getting nothing :(

  • sort of up and down, but I’m surviving lol. I can’t do a lot with my graphic design and photography skills because I live in an area that has very little creative job opportunities. Although, I did receive work experience from a creative marketing company, so that’s one good thing :) . I even tried applying for artsy retail shops like hobby craft but still got rejected. I guess this is a scenario where I just have to be patient.

  • I am in the same boat and relate to this so much. I know I can do a good job, but the interview itself is the issue.

  • Hi there. How are you doing?

Is there anything you can do remotely with your graphic design and photography? I'm not sure whether that sort of thing is available. I have tried working outside my field with regular jobs and it just hasn't worked, because of dealing with co-workers. For me, I have needed to be in a role where I can show my worth without having to be good at the social skills.

Even doing well at the work itself, it is still hard day to day. But it is easier doing this that trying something that is really important to be good at being non-autistic.

  • I am a creative individual who likes creating physical / digital art and photography. In fact, I studied graphic design and photography in college. Unfortunately, I live in an area that lacks creative opportunities. So the only option is to get a regular job. Ideally, I would like to work in retail. I don't mind if it's not a creative environment, as long as my coworkers don't treat me like a ***. I can handle rude customers, but being constantly punched down by coworkers is unbearable.

  • Perhaps it's time to refocus.

Work, these days, is unlikely to provide a living wage. The way forward is to think outside the box.

    What are your interests?
