My advice is to take your time getting to know the members here by participating in forum discussions, as this will help you to determine who you're on a similar wavelength with, and any interests/hobbies that you may have in common.

I watch a lot of TV (always have done), but in terms of productive hobbies I veer towards arts and crafts.
