The latest batch of cold and wet weather, I successfully bought a new pair of sandals, now it's to cold and wet to wear them.
See I told you it was my fault!
It was embarrassing
That made me smile that she wore the same coat as you
I'm so sorry for your loss Rach. It sounds like your mum was a very special person.
Same with me my mum used to say take an umbrella with you to take the rain away then she would embarrass me by putting the same rain coat on as me saying we could be twins if it was raining. I miss her 3 years the end of May it will be now she was 66 years old and I was only 29.
It happens to me a lot. I'll buy something for the nice weather and then the weather turns bad and I have to wait until it improves again.
It's sunny, but cool, here. But the temperature is dipping, quite a bit, overnight.
Ugh always annoying when this happens lol.
Like last year bought a really summery dress and than had months and months of cooler and wetter weather. Typical Ireland lol.
Hoping to wear it this summer....
Ha, ha ha, that's usually me! I'm still wearing coat, boots, gloves & a scarf when I go out - not taking any chances.
Perhaps when one of us buys winter clothes in September we should warn everyone that there is likely to be a heatwave?
Bummer when that happens.
I replaced the windscreen on my Land Rover Discovery last year, the very next day a stone hit the windscreen when I was driving. I told myself it would make it to home.
Wrong. Before I got home it more less shattered, I think because of a very bumpy country track.
That was definitely my fault.
Bought crocs which too cold for wearing and now got my slippers on. Also washed loads of light weight clothes.
