I find myself looking for a purpose in life. I've always associated that with a career or bringing up a family. My children are adults now, and do not live nearby. And a career doesn't seem very likely for me now, due to various health reasons.
Someone said to me recently that a purpose doesn't have to be just those things. But I can't get passed that. Any thoughts please ?
I find growing things gives a purpose and something to look forward to. It can be a big or small project, so garden, balcony or indoor plants. It could be flowers vegetables or pots a herbs indoors.
I have a garden and when each winter comes I enjoy searching for the seeds for my plans for the following year. There is a time when a lot are sold off at a pound each. I have also grown some perennials and the polyanthus have been interesting as some were a different colour last year.
Alternatively you might be able to find another indoor project.
