Hi this is for everyone who has a sweet tooth what’s your favourite cake Jaffer cakes not included I still see them as biscuits. cheese cake can be included.
My favourite cake has got to be a Victoria sponge the cream and the jam amazing I also have a soft spot for cupcakes as well so over to everyone else what’s your favourite cake and why?
Forgive me Roy......WTAF is the "A bomb?"
I know a chap, who's left over wheels of cheese (in the freezer) from his wedding - outlasted his marriage!
Freezers (and cheese) are great things......no matter what. Marriages, are more fickle!
I also attended one with a cheese wedding cake, it was just there with biscuits and grapes. I always remember it, There had been my normal two weeks of shutdown before the social engagement, a week later was when the ‘A bomb’ finally landed in my life!
I went to a wedding once which had wheels of cheese instead of cake
The most expensive cake a man ever ate was wedding cake!
Yes i do and this is something I've been trying to find again without success

Black Forest is a classic 80’s desert. That used to be on the table at any family gathering along with jelly and blamange. I know I’ve spelt that wrong by the way (predictive text has let me down again)
Yes
Does anyone remember Black Forest Gateaus?
I used to love them.
I don't know what it was called but one year a friend of my mothers baked a cake for my brothers birthday. It was simple sponge with butter cream layers and the outer covering was both marzepan and icing.
Without a doubt cheesecake is my number 1 for sure. It's my favourite dessert then that's closely followed by a Victoria sponge.
I'm not big on cake but cheesecake is nice every now and then.
Key Lime Cheesecake. I made one several years ago and decorated the top with slices of Kiwi Fruit. It did not last long as I kept helping myself to "just one more slice".
I don't think I've ever had Parkin on Bonfire Night. When I was a child, my mother would always make Treacle Toffee for Bonfire Night.
Anyway, I'm delighted that at least one person here has heard of Parkin.
Strawberry Cheesecake, love it!
Lots of cake lovers not many cheese cake lovers though
I like all type of cakes, Jaffa cakes (including the various flavours orange, lemon, apricot, apple, blackberry, cherry). I love carrot cake, victoria, hazelnut, walnut.
I was once on a government sponsored diet and healthy living course, which used shock treatment to persuade people to avoid unhealthy foods such as cakes. Once, immediately after a session I went straight to a international buffet and ate and ate, for dessert there was a large selection of cakes, I ate.
