Hi I’m in a Harry Potter mood tonight and I just want to know what everyone’s favourite Harry Potter film is and why? Mine is the half blood prince as I find it very dark I love watching dark films and just the emotion in that film is powerful it makes you feel sorry for Draco Molfoy for a short period of time plus the actor who plays him is fit as anything in that film. It makes you hate Snape until you watch deathly hallows part 2. What about everyone else what’s your favourite Harry Potter film?
prisoner of azkaban
Yeah I would prefer a movie though not sure about plays maybe might go to the theatre
The curst child is coming out next year
I like all of them I want more films
Me too. That's a particularly deep one really, seeing glimpses of Tom Riddles post, and seeing how Voldemorts slowly taking over again. I also loved the introduction of Slughorns character lol.
I love fiction. Reading great literature is an amazingly useful way of learning about people, how they think, what they feel and how they interact with each other. Plus it is all in a much safer environment than real life.
i loved the half blood prince too
It's the Philosophers Stone for me. I love discovering the magical world and seeing Hogwarts for the first time with Harry at the start of his journey.
Agree, HBP is my favourite HP film too, Keep meaning to read the books.
It's curious I love fiction, especially fantasy (HP, Star Wars, Doctor Who, books by David Eddings and Greg Bear) but my teenage son (also autistic) struggles with fantasy fiction. He also still finds it difficult to watch some of the darker HP films and things even like Doctor Who.
I've always thought the Prisoner of Azkaban is highly underrated. I like the Dementors first appearance on the train, it's so eery and intense.
Am I the only Autistic person who can not watch anything like this? Any fim or TV I watch has to be real life, no dragons, wizzards, magic etc, not even superheros? I can't read fiction books either. I have an imagination but only if it evolves around real things, or plausable things like I can do science fiction like Star Wars because I believe that could happen.
Also.. Anybody play Hogwarts Legacy??
Me too, I think it works well because it was the last of the shorter books, so the fit of the narrative into a film was reasonable. There not too much skipping of features of the plot. It is also the first film to have a darker feel to it.
Slytherin - I was given the choice between Slytherin and Hufflepuff. I chose Slytherin, of course; who wants to be a hard-working nice-guy? I also have a wand that is "Apt for Dark Magic and accumulating wealth".
Prisoner of Azkaban for me - possibly because it was the book I enjoyed most.
My fav Harry Potter is The Chamber of Secrets followed closely by The Deathly Hallows, both are full of mystery and very adventurous. The Chamber of Secrets is the first Harry Potter I ever read. It was out of order lol but I absolutely fell in love with it.
I'm a huge Harry Potter fan, I own a lot of clothing, all with Hufflepuff colours lol, and I've got Lego, books, wands... It's my favourite series of books and films and my special interest.
I'm a Hufflepuff as well
Hufflepuff. I used to be Ravenclaw but then it changed after middleschool for some reason
Ravenclaw
My fiancé is a Slytherin too!
