I would say my fav Doc is, of course Tom. I used to dress like him 'n everything, swishing the scarf. Fav doc for the new series is David Tenant. He is so relatable. I liked his Hamlet very much too! He was also in Hitchhikers guide to the galaxy. fav companion would be.. Donna Noble for the new series.. for the old it's Sarah Jane Smith! She ended up with her own series too around time of Torchwood with Jack Harkness with K9 briefly in the mix. I loved K9 so much.I loved the cross overs between the shows. I also liked a lot that young man who wore the kilt for doc 2.. Can't remember his name. I'm blathering..
Oh and this morning I'm watching Ncuti Gatwa's first episode The Church on Ruby Road. I've seen it already of course but I loved it and am excited for the new season so thought I would watch again.
I like Ncuti, I think he'll be an amazing Doctor. The trailer for the new season certainly looks amazing so my expectations are set high and I'm more than excited!
Nice work with your Photoshop, it looks awesome! I like Tom Baker, I loved his special appearance in the 50th anniversary with Matt and David. He's a lot older but his voice is still the same.
Yeah I love the classic series. I love old and new Who, both have so much to offer, and I'm obsessed and addicted to both.
What's your favourite series? Do you have a favourite companion?
I think my favourite Doctor is the 11th and for the older series the 7th Doctor. It's a shame his series was cut short, I would like to have seen more of him and Ace.
I think Carpenter wanted the film to be more supernatural than ‘slasher’ film. A third of the film was re-filmed as Carpenter didn’t think it was scary enough. The DJ in the lighthouse was his real wife.
Jamie Lee Curtis was the young hitchhiker in the film, the blonde woman in the film who played Kathy is the mother of Jamie, Janet Leigh who famously was in the shower scene in “Psycho”.
Great series! Ronnie Barker was a fabulous actor and he and David Jason worked together so well. They were good friends.
I love The Fog a lot - from the opening campfire story to the creepy shots of the town at night... gives off this spookiness vibe that pervades the whole movie. Some of Carpenter's early horror was really effective at establishing a scary atmosphere while having surprisingly low body counts and little gore. Great soundtrack, too!
Yes I have lol.
If you want guaranteed laughs that's the go to one...
I like old ones too. The problem is I have currently watched all the ones available.
We're watching Bad Batch on disney+ at the moment. Never really been a big Star Wars fanatic but I'm really enjoying this at the moment. Not sure what that says about me since it's probably aimed at children but nevermind!
