People frequently resurrect old threads which began with someone who is no longer on the forum asking for help or saying how unhappy they are with their life. These are often years old.
I wonder how these people are. Did they get the help they needed from the forum and move on to better things. Did they give up. Are they alright. I hope so.
I hope he is his posts were always pleasant to read.
There are many members I often think of and wonder what they're doing now or if they are still with us. As Debbie said hopefully they have moved on to better things in life and are too busy to come back.
If I ever see any of Jamie and I's mutual real life friends I will be able ask about him and check he is still alive.

This is a kind thought.
Sometimes we find out about former members through other members who have been here for many years.
I know that a couple passed away, one tragically young.
However, let's hope that the positive possibility ie that they moved on to better things, is what has generally happened.

I don't think there are any forum groups
I often appreciate an insightful reply, no matter how old a thread may be, if the title is relevant to something I may be going through. That said, although I'm technically a forum member, I am not part of any specific group.
I miss a lot of members who I interacted with here. Everyone makes their presence felt when they are active and I can't help but miss them when they are no longer present.
I miss Jamie. I doubt he'll ever come back. I just watched Newcastle Utd get beat and would want to make some jokes with him.
the only one that springs to mind is plastic (not that he complained all that much) and he joined the chiors etherial.
