    Well yes, he was very ill unfortunately. Especially in his final couple of years. On a huge cocktail of drugs and chronic excess. It's very sad.

    I wouldn't call that the real Elvis, he was just struggling enormously and there wasn't any real support at the time. Keith Moon and John Bonham followed soon after for similar reasons.
