Hi all,
i have all sorts of sounds / music playing in my head in the day. Sometimes it's a well-known song that's 'stuck' in there
But generally i'll 'hear' myself running a riff or a bassline in my head whilst making dinner, for instance. It's something I've never heard, but if it 'stays' long enough (it usually morphs into something else) i'll get to the computer/keyboard in an attempt to record it.
Anyway, does anyone else have this... uniqueness!??
I am not what I would consider to be a musical person, but occasionally my mind will create a simple melody. To anyone else, it would likely sound dreadful if I attempted to hum it, on account of the fact that it would be completely off-key and badly out out of tune.
I havnet yet. I hope too one day though. I just dont really have the right equipment or time to right now
do you record any of the pieces, or release any of your scores?
Hi Kuro,
I like it! I guess it's best when not in public though
It must keep your jaw muscles in trim ;)
Hi Martin,
totally with you; I can't help but humm to the hoover and the coffee machine.. when they're on of course
Hey,
yes i can totally relate one gets jarred in there for weeks on end!
I've got the one from Gremlins playing lately, when they're all in the bar smashing up the place. I just found out it's called Mega Madness How apt.

The drone sound of my electric shaver tends to result in me producing vaguely uilleann pipe type melodies over it.
Hello "Davidoff"
I have music playing in my head 24/7
The last week i cant stop a song playing that has been going on and on and on :-(
I store songs in my head if that makes sense.
Very cool!
It's nice to know that someone else can understand & enjoy that 'feature' of our mind
Thanks.
My main stim is tapping my teeth together to create a drum beat. I do it almost constantly. And I often make a riff or melody to go along with it. And I also recreate drum beats to songs I like
I do that! I like to add my own soundtrack/sound effects to my life as if it is a movie. And if I create a song that I really like (and im near my piano) then Ill figure out the notes and write it down on staff paper
