Inflammation

I went to a gathering yesterday of eight 3 year olds and all the parents at a friend's house. I actually enjoyed myself which was rare for a social gathering, but my god was it sensory overload! Duhh, it was always going to be... I know...

I didn't sleep very well overnight, but have woken up with a bad gut (I won't go too far into that).

So, I was wondering, when you get overstimulated in this way do you also have an inflammatory response in any way, and how does this appear?

  • Excitement, Over-stimulation, Dread and Anxiety are all the same process neurologically and biologically. They should trigger a GABA response, the gut-brain axis.

And all the new medical studies are finally showing that Au and ADHD might, on occasion, need anti-anxiety medication, which boosts GABA (anti-depressants actually lower it) So yes, you might have trouble sleeping and it will affect your gut.
