Newly diagnosed at 44 years old , felling like I do not belong in this world , it’s such a lonely place , people always misunderstand and lack clear communication skills . Leaving me in regular Autistic burn out . Can anyone else relate .
Hi Ally, welcome to the community. I only joined recently after a late diagnosis too. I can definitely relate, and I've already found this community so helpful and reassuring. Wishing you all the best
Thank you
Welcome to the community
Yes I can certainly relate and this world isn't designed for us. I hope that you have finally found a place where you do belong - right here.
Hopefully being here will make this world a little more tolerable and help you realise you're not alone in your struggles.
Hi Ally welcome to the forum.I can relate to the burnout, though I was actually diagnosed as a kid.If you don't know how to work your way around the forum yet you can use the search bar to check for topics. And one of our regular lovely people Debbie recently made a thread to shine a light on a security feature for those who miss it (it's a bit of a hidden setting) https://community.autism.org.uk/f/adults-on-the-autistic-spectrum/34292/pms-friendship-requests anyway, again welcome to the forum! :)
Hi Ally, welcome and yes a lot of us here can relate. It’s not fair, is it?
