There's a new test/quiz for Monotropism. https://dlcincluded.github.io/MQ/ What did you get?I got:
Your Average: 3.60This score suggests that you are more Monotropic than about 6% of autistic people and about 77% of allistic people based on data from the initial validation study.""As a reminder this is an assessment for Monotropism, a trait sometimes associated with Autism, not Autism directly. If you score high, please be sure to do further research into Monotropism, more information can be found: https://monotropism.org/"
Monotropism Score: 203 / 235

Yes they are but overall they are a result of a monotropic cognitive style.
Autism seems to be more pervasive in it's effects than just a couple of standout characteristics...
Average: 4.4
This score suggests that you are more Monotropic than about 80% of autistic people and about 99% of allistic people based on data from the initial validation study.
The questions just sounded like they were testing for autism to me. I thought that being absorbed in special interests and not being able to deal with changing tasks were two key traits of autism?
Monotropism Score: 194 / 235
Your Average: 4.13
No idea if that means I am autistic or not
Monotropism Score: 216 / 235
Your Average: 4.60
I'm Monotropic, Now What?
This score suggests that you are more Monotropic than about 91% of autistic people and about 100% of allistic people based on data from the initial validation study.
For visual reference based on the original study, the arrow points to where you would fall on their chart:
Monotropism Score: 208 / 235
Your Average: 4.43
....and self-identify as autistic!!
I like the test, I think it is a much more accurate indicator of the internal autistic experiences than other traditional formal identification tools.
Thanks for the video, the channel looks great!
My results are:
Monotropism Score: 192 / 235
Your Average: 4.09
This score suggests that you are more Monotropic than about 44% of autistic people and about 95% of allistic people based on data from the initial validation study.
I wanted to correct my 'may' to 'many' there, but edits for spelling are no longer permitted when I try.
I love how well this demonstrates what a diverse bunch we are. The faders on each of may traits being in uniquely higher or lower positions, the overall effect on each generally still being a significantly higher mark-up on allistic norms.
I think this means you win!
Snap!
Monotropism Score: 200 / 235
Your Average: 4.26
This score suggests that you are more Monotropic than about 63% of autistic people and about 97% of allistic people based on data from the initial validation study.

Yeah I noticed the time stamp and realised I was away when the original one was posted so I missed it. I just found the test lastnight because it was mentioned in https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D_8xGTFLfdo
Monotropism Score: 206 / 235
Your Average: 4.38
This score suggests that you are more Monotropic than about 75% of autistic people and about 99% of allistic people based on data from the initial validation study.
Hi Bees
I started the discussion about the Monotropism questionnaire a few months ago, it’s great to see another one and compare results though!
183/235
More monotropic than 23% of autistic people and 89% more than non-autistic people - sounds about right
thanks for posting this - interesting
... no, I wouldn't notice hunger, but would notice a need to pee, lol
Oh that's interesting I missed that thread being posted while I was on holiday. I'll have to read through and see all the results on both.
