It’s come up a few times recently about people rewatching certain things for comfort and familiarity, I am definitely someone that does this with tv series. However I also do it with YouTube. There are a couple of videos on YouTube that I have watched maybe hundreds of times. They bring me a sense of calmness, comfort and joy. I go back to the same few clips time and time again. Was just wondering if anyone else does the same thing with YouTube and if so thought we could share our favourite ones, to see if they bring anyone else joy or if we have similar ones or even the same one, which I guess is fairly unlikely! This is my all time favourite… I even have it saved as a link on my homescreen on my phone. It’s just a video of a slow loris eating a rice ball, but I find it fascinating and comforting all at the same time! I’ve even used it to calm me down when I’m on the edge of meltdown… not sure what it is about it I love so much! https://youtu.be/18-xvIjH8T4?si=y33as03tLhfHQCsu
Me too it always makes me smile
And puts me in a great mood ^^
Ahh love that it makes you feel like that! I just love rewatching things… so much familiarity about it!
Oh this is my kind of video! I love it :)
This is my fav go to video ^^

It's heartwarming and lovely to see:)
Warning for blood and a bit of violence

This is my favourite one to rewatch over and over again. It's a fanvid of the show hannibal where they have used clips from the show to fit the music 'Glitter and gold'
The way all the moments line up and the very percussive and rhythmic music makes me feel more grounded and confident to tackle something difficult so I watch it a lot
Ahhh I loved it! I love Alan Rickman. Was so sad to hear when he died. It’s such a feel good clip!
what are your favourite tv shows to rewatch?
Ahh I love that it’s not just me that does it! Fascinating how what people watch over and over is so different!
I started watching it, but felt the opposite to you weirdly and found the fast pace quite stressful! Funny isn’t it!
Ahh that song is amazing - so emotional. I can see why it gets to you! I also love lord of the rings - although not enough to consider myself a nerd in the subject as I’ve only watched it all through a few times!
The den of kittens is simply sensational! I could most definitely watch it on repeat! :)
Me too mate! I can rewatch many TV, movies and YouTube... and do frequently!
This is one of my favourites to watch

I love Alan Rickman! And this just makes me laugh out loud every time I watch it. It's my go to thing for when I feel down as well.
I do the same!
It's a bit of a long one but this is my favourite:

Watching it just makes me feel calm if I've had a stressful day, I think It might be because of how fast he talks but it is my definite go to!
Yes actually. There’s a lovely version of Into the West (the closing song in the end titles of Return of the King) that I frequently watch.
I don’t feel much emotion most of the time and in my teens found that cutting my arm helped me feel. I stopped that a long time ago, but have since found some movies or songs can fulfill the same purpose.
I won’t bore you with the backstory to the song (I’m a Lord of the Rings nerd), but suffice to say that although it sounds like It’s about a journey into the west, it’s actually about death, parting and goodbyes. And I cannot watch it without crying. Which for some reason makes me feel better. It’s also a rather beautiful song.

edit: in a similar vein to your slow loris video, I also love this one. Almost no problem is so great that a den of purring kittens won’t help:
