Hi guys, I’m 24 and going to be moving to the Sussex area in the new year and I would really like to make some friends, I would especially love to meet other autistics. Does anyone know how to go about this? I’ve looked online at support groups in the area but i can barley find anything.

When I was first diagnosed back in 2018, I found autistic friends by asking on one of the UK wide autistic facebook groups to see who was local to me.
That's a really good idea. I've not tried any online groups but when I was at school I tried after school clubs.
I like this site it's an easy way of communicating without the stresses you get in the real world.
Thanks, I actually formed my own local autism social group from the autistic friends I made from the online group. I used to find this forum an absolute saviour in my first year ir so following diagnosis.
