Recently got diagnosed after 27 long years! Does anyone else ever feel like they struggle to remember things short term but can recall basically useless info from god knows how long ago purely because it was interesting at one point? does that make sense and how do people cope with new information and being able to be better at remembering or retaining? Thanks
Congratulations on the diagnosis! I find it difficult to retain information especially when reading I can't remember characters names, places and sometimes the plot. And useless with people's names in real life! Bad memory is common for people like us - I expect it's where our brains work so hard to process everything that's going on around us!
