some people (well one person I know: but I assume that others are affected too ) still can't log in to the system.

A limited vocabulary can be a real issue!
Just realised how often I said "issue" I need to broaden my vocabulary!
I'm relieved to be back. Not sure how long it was that I couldn't sign in as I'm a bit of a lurker. I was also concerned for those who needed extra support but couldn't get in. I struggled to understand who I needed to report my issues to (it felt like I was the only person excluded to start with) but found an email that sort of seemed to fit the bill for reporting my issues. Had a lovely reply back saying I wasn't alone in this issue. Thank you to those working behind the scenes who fixed the issue for me. Very appreciative
Finally I managed to log in.
Paranoia was getting the better of me. I thought I had been banned from this place. I was trying to figure out what I had done to offend people.
Also back online. I've missed the old place, and worried about those who might have really needed extra support in recent days.
Thanks to the mods for getting it all sorted.

After almost a week... I have managed to login again lol! I won't be logging out ever again!
Ditto - any log-in issues tend to be device specific in my experience too.
Interestingly despite using the same browser I noticed one device could log on when another couldn't.
It seems I can now log in on my phone

and i should add - if you go to your user page, it throws the same error.
hi. any device that gets logged - i cannot then log back in.

I have been automatically logged out of my account on my PC and tablet and can't log back in.
I get the message 'that was unexpected' etc.
So different message from my other account that is locked.
Similar to Shardovan one device still works ie my phone.
I don't know what will happen though if I am automatically logged out on that device.
An update would be good.

I'll be very sad if I have to do that. I like the continuity of being the same 'me' I've been since day one, but if it comes to it...

I have been unable to log into my original account since 1st May this year so if anyone else finds that this persists, and they are unable to log in (I get the message 'we can't seem to find your account') you may want to do what I did in the end, and create a new account.
