Hi Everyone,
I am a 44 year old female and have been recently diagnosed in the last 2 months.
I was given the diagnosis over Zoom am still waiting on the report. No further help has been offered or guidance. So I have trying to find my way on my own.
So just wanted to say Hi and maybe connect with a few people
Hello NAS87015
I was assessed by Clinical Partners .I got my Assessment report via my Patient Portal a few weeks later. It's a PDF document that you can download
Hi. Welcome and congratulations on the diagnosis.
You should get some recommendations in the report, but yeah we are all kinda left to find our own way there after.
I've found the good folk here pretty helpful though, hope we can help you too.
Thank you for your advice. Everyone has been so welcoming
Hi, I feel the same way. Lots of mixed feelings really. I'm starting to try and get my head around it. Think it will help once I can read the report
If you have question, post on this forum, people are generally friendly and helpful.
Hi, I'm 35 female and was told by Clinical Partners also of my diagnosis on Thursday. Not sure when the report will land. I'm a bit overwhelmed and not sure what to do next. Hope you're OK!
Oh you should ! put that talent to use . Watching your soaps and playing an instrument, It's very therapeutic
Yeah I agree, that's why I avoid. I have a good ear for music, my family are quite musical and I can hear a wrong note a mile off I can play alittle bit of lots of instruments but have never pursued a particular one.
I don't do Social Music either , Too much gossip and noise. My comments about music is what I think got me diagnosed with ASD . I explained that I hear and 'Feel' music like texture . My Father used to tell me stories of when I was a little boy dancing outside music shops . I love music and also play guitar.
I love music too.
I don't really have any social media tho.
Hi there

I enjoy reading, photography, colouring books and puzzle books. Also listening to music and BBC sound app.

Feeling better after deleting social media accounts.

Hi Aaron,
Good luck for tomorrow, I hope it goes well.
I've not heard of meet up.com but I will look onto it, thank you.
I am definitely on a journey as well, and yes it does explain alot about my life too.
Hi again. I am having my feedback report tomorrow morning. Wondering and probably most likely glad??? I hope. I am 65. I have also been going to meet up groups both in person but also zoom online via Meetup.com.
I wish you all the best. It has been a journey of discovery and explains so much about my life. I wish for you all of the support you need. Often it can be communal.
Hi Desmond,
