I wondered if anyone would like to share a list of a few of their special interests? I love seeing what interests we all have
A few of mine (I tend to fluctuate in and out of them) are
Germany (anything German but especially food, music and football)
The history of Eastern Europe, especially the former East Germany and Hungary
Learning about different countries, such as Switzerland or Iceland
South American history and football, especially Argentina
Cricket
Buses
Trains
Hippos and animals and birds in general
Wildfowl
I usually like the sounds (Wii Sport Theme) I am profoundly deaf and hear them and to my mind I see them as iiiiiiiiiiiieeeeeoeoeoeoeooooo, Bam bun pop. (Oddly I'm weird, but I know I'm wasn't the alone one). Fondest with the old commercial adverts, Love Phnes4U, when they use the sign language?, Oh that PG Tea Monkeys and not forgotting PCworld Handshake at the end of advert. Mind blown!
Random but you will probably understand it, did you watch Kleo?
Thanks for starting a great discussion.
My dedicated interest is:
I accepted my fate as a Weatherwax a long time ago!
Great Post! OK so mine are:
Char, that's such a great vampire series/ film list. I also love these!!
Flying FPV drones is my current one. The feeling of flying is pretty unique. it is something definitely very intriguing to people with ASD. I have been teaching my nephew who has far more advanced ASD than me to fly as well.
Outside of that I love architecture and shapes. Complexity in anything is just interesting.
haha yes! in my head i think im nanny ogg but in reality im probably abit more granny weatherwax
Lego! One that I forgot to add. My parents could gave saved a fortune had LEGO Star Wars been a thing in the 80s! It is so therapeutic.
Lego - sense of achievement & love sorting pieces before building
Gardening - helping the planet & wildlife
Pokemon - love collecting
Nanny Ogg is brilliant- she reminds me of a great-aunt I had growing up. My own favourite Discworld character is Lord Vetinari, so about as far from Nanny Ogg as it's possible to get
I love What We Do In The Shadows and Viago is my favorite character. Peter was wonderful too at eight thousand years old. I wonder what story's he could tell? Best of all, vampires do not wash up!
I love nature and get absorbed learning the names of plants and theiir functions, herbs in particular. Fungi and trees fascinate and the symbiosis of these have kept me up many a night reading up on them! I love all animals but especially sheep, donkeys, deer, goats, dogs and cats ...again I want to know how they feel, why they do certain behavoours etc. I also love learning about the history and practice of witchcraft, history of powerful women, hidden herstories, folklore, as well as erotic art and literature. I love colours but especially pink, turquoise and lilac. The beach is a haven of fascination too!
do you like What We Do in the Shadows? One of my favourite films and comedy series!
My interests are manga, sandy beaches and trains.
Hi battybats, I absolutely adore the witches in Terry Pratchetts Discworld series. I make a total exception to not usually enjoying fiction when it comes to these books. Fave character - Nanny Ogg!

I like hippos and most animals. I think animals are sometimes nicer than people :o)
Like music.
Learning science.
Writing.
Singing.
Dolls.
Fashion.
France and French items and history.
Designing.
Help!, I have tried but failed to load an image. Wonder why I drive a vehicle without a ECU?
It was Count Duckula that started me off but I used to watch Mona the Vampire too
I don't believe in real vampires, but given that I dress all in black, never go out in the sunlight, and have a very restricted diet... I'm not sure my opinions on that are worth much!
