Favourite animal

What's everyone's favourite animal? I love hippos, they are so beautiful and round and they have such expressive faces. When a hippo is happy you can really see them smile, they really show their emotions very clearly. You can really see the pride a mother hippo looks at her baby with

Also they spray their poo at everyone which I think is pretty cool

Cats! I have two real ones and a collection of over 100 cat related items - I'm not sure what it is about them that I like so much but I think it's their aloofness yet at the same time they like affection on their own terms which I relate to!

I adore cats too, they are so clean and beautiful, unlike most dogs which seriously assail my senses with drool and smell and their assertive demeanour

Same! My partner wants a dog someday and I really don't! I'm happy with our two cats. They're less demanding for attention and their fur is softer too - I don't like the roughness of some dogs fur!
