Does anyone else love plush cuddly animal toys and find them very comforting? I find they are one of the most comforting things for me. I have about 200 of them and they all live on a big Ikea unit in my bedroom. Just wondered if anyone has a particular favourite one theyve had for years as well? My favourite is a pygmy hippo ( I love hippos) that I rescued from getting thrown out when I worked in a charity shop years ago
Stroking one of those with very soft fur can be as relaxing as stroking a cat if you don't have one ( and they don't dig their claws in you).
And also I don't know if you follow Cincinnati zoo on Instagram but Fiona hippo, with baby Fritz and Bibi and Tucker
Well my profile pic, as I thought we weren't allowed to post real pics, is one. He's called Henry and a he's a capitalist Marxist bear, yeah we've had conversations about this and hownit doesnt work. That's without mentioning the hippos which our house is full of, originally my other half's thing but now also mine. When we got married we had a shield designed which has Henry and Hugo Hippo on it. They're not so plush anymore!
I have a teddy bear that a great uncle gave me when I was a baby. He's my favourite. I also have about half a dozen others that I've acquired as an adult, which are also nice, but I'm less emotionally attached to them. I enjoy cuddling them all.
We have a couple of these, my daughter got me, for some reason my O/H doesn't find them cute....
I mean, look at dose Ikkle faces!!

I can't quite get my head around the concept of a cuddly Cthulhu....

I love that you used the word 'live', Billy.
There's no point being grown up if you can't be childish sometimes.
(4th Doctor, Doctor Who).
I have three toy dogs. Someone, kindly and brilliantly, had the inspired idea of buying them for me because they knew my memory problems alone mean that I don't want to be responsible for real-life pets. The dogs are company for me and I'm really grateful that they are here.
I'm never embarrassed by this, nor by the toy pets being seen by visitors. I don't feel embarrassed by our so-called immaturity, our joy in what many would consider childishness. In fact, I love our enthusiasm and our excitement, our passions. Personally-speaking only, I do wonder if these things aren't just a rejection of adulthood, but a rejection of the adult world's inexplicable harshnesses.
I love bears of all sizes and shapes.
My favourite is a white bear that has the Italian flag all over her body and on her nose.
She's always been my favourite one.
Also the first bear I was bought/given.
I'm not one for cuddling my plushies but I do like them. I like to collect weird ones- I have a Cthulhu, a pterosaur, a llama, and (unsurprisingly) about half a dozen bats. I just like having them around!
My favourite is a tiny bat with velcro hands so it can hang from things- it currently lives on my floor lamp.
Yep, and my fave is a life-size goose. :)
