Short-Term Memory problems

Not sure how long it will take for my account to be closed on here, so I'll ask this question and hope someone might be able to advise before that happens.

My short-term memory is gradually getting worse and worse.

Not sure if this is due to ASD or Type-1 Diabetes (frequent Hypos).

Anyone else experience memory problems?

Have any advice/tips to help, please?

Thank you.

  • Definitely have issues with this. I've also twice today had intsnaces where halfway through a sentence I forget what on earth I was talking about and had to apologise. Important work stuff too. Embarrassing and concerning.

My long term memory is much better - though the main problem is that my brain's storage capacity is 90% occupied with Doctor Who minutiae, 5% with other cult/niche stuff, and 5% everything else that can be squoze in.

As a consequnce, I'm a pretty useless person for anything practical or requiring common sense. And for generalities of 'good stuff to know' have a memory like... er... what do you call that thing you strain rice through?
