I watched it a few months ago, obviously before the film no one had even heard of autism, it put autism on the map, unfortunately Hollywood takes it to the extreme, boring films don’t sell tickets. It’s thought there are about 3 savant people like the character in the world, it’s not a fair representation of autistic people but as I said, there was nothing before. Unfortunately the world now thinks all autistic people can do party tricks.
