Every departure is a loss of diversity and increases the risk that the forum could become the the kind of unwelcoming place you described.

This should be a safe space for everyone.

It is very bad. 

Let us examine dispassionately where in fact the toxicity is coming from. 

Only then can a fair solution be arrived at.

Untoward, you made exactly the same error of judgement I did. It seems diabolically unfair that you need to leave.

I do salute your courage, You "went there", even after seeing what treatment I got!

Please stay. Diversity is inclusive of all, and conversations on here are seldoM so combative that common ground can’t be found on many things. 

You decision to depart this place is a very bad omen.  I note that you have contributed widely and diversely for 24 months.  I do not note (from a cursory inspection) previous issues arising like the one that has arisen tonight.  I would like you to remain in this place but I can fully understand your logic for leaving.  This is bad.
