Yay I found and bought it on my Kindle :) 

I've never used kindle, where does it say autors name? it should be Nancy Kress. I don't remember the beginning, I read it 3 years ago, or something like that, and my philosopher friend has my copy

I read it in polish when I was 15y.o. and my imagination system is based on invented by Suoer Chikdren communicatiion method for their personal use. Than I read it again some few years ago in english again. I do that with all books, In one language first, than after many years in another language again.

It turns out that translations into polish and into english are not the same, I noticed it first time reading Asimov's Fundation Series.
