Tips for interviews (Placement year)

So I've in my 2nd year of Uni I'm studying IT and Business my next year I'll be doing a Placement year. So I have gotten through to the interview stages but this where I fail so I'm practising but need  advice when applying for work placement and how to better myself as I always stutter and waffle etc. Just need advise how to get other these issues

    • Have a think about what kind if questions they will ask and prepare answers for them.  You might even be able to ask for a lost of questions in advance.  Make sure that you focus on what they're asking.
    • Know your stuff!  Show that you have the knowledge to do the thing that they want you to do.
    • Knowing details about the job you're applying for is helpful.  Check out the business website and see what their values and aims are, and think about how you could show them that you would be a good fit with these values.
