Tips for interviews (Placement year)

Hello all,

So I've in my 2nd year of Uni I'm studying IT and Business my next year I'll be doing a Placement year. So I have gotten through to the interview stages but this where I fail so I'm practising but need  advice when applying for work placement and how to better myself as I always stutter and waffle etc. Just need advise how to get other these issues

    • Have a think about what kind if questions they will ask and prepare answers for them.  You might even be able to ask for a lost of questions in advance.  Make sure that you focus on what they're asking.
    • Know your stuff!  Show that you have the knowledge to do the thing that they want you to do.
    • Knowing details about the job you're applying for is helpful.  Check out the business website and see what their values and aims are, and think about how you could show them that you would be a good fit with these values.
  • I don't think there is a solution. Allistic can see us even if we stop to stutter. I failed every single one in 15 years. At least I know why now. You must convince them you'll be amazing colleague to have around on daily basis, easier said than done, job related stuff is meaningless.

To cheer you up. I did write a mocking letter once:

    My Dearest Madam/Sire

    Expressing my deepest desire

    I would like to inform

That I filled out the form

    Tough it does not matter

If I am black white or other

    or fit in your statistic

    because I am autistic

I do not know how to fight

Or if I have any right

To freedom, to work or desire

    My dearest Madam/Sire
