  • Robert.  Steady on there fella!

You say that "people are not worth it".....and you may be right in many, many instances......but DEFINITELY not all.

You need to find your tribe.  Perhaps you have - is this where you will find them?  If not, you must keep looking because "waiting to die" is just another way of saying "I'm unimaginably miserable."

Just close your eyes for a moment and imagine how your life could be made better.  Dwell in that place for a while in your imagination - savour it - pay attention to key details that you notice. Then, open your eyes.  Write down the principle features that you noticed from your "happy place."

Perhaps you wrote down things you cannot possibly attain quickly or easily....if at all?  That will be a good sign for you......it means that you do actually want things to be different.

No matter how hopeless, meaningless and miserable your life feels right now - if you can imagine how things COULD be different, then you have the outline of what you actually need to start working on now to improve things.  That, my friend, is the meaning of a worthy life!

Do not despair.  Do not give up.  Laugh at yourself (this one really helped me.). Start plugging away at improving your life and improving how you feel.  One baby step at a time - start small!  It can be a very long journey, but it WILL be worth it, even during the first few steps of it.

I send you my very best wishes.  I've been where you are.  I do hope you can summon the fortitude to aim at "better" - I managed, so I expect that you can too.
