Favourite nuts

Following discussion about cheese I felt compelled to mention another food aboundant in flavours - nuts.

For me unquestionably it's hazelnuts, always and ever. 

The least likable I find brazil nuts, the difference in taste between them and lets say pecan nuts is like a difference between tap water and mineral water, I can't stand unfiltered tap water.

What are your favourtite nuts?

  • Walnuts!!! Pecans are a second. But I cannot have the Legume in the bunch, which is not a nut, the Peanut. 

    I'd love to info-dump in the moment!

    Most nuts are actually Seeds or Drupes. Only the Chestnut, the Hazelnut and the Acorn (which humans can in fact consume!I) are True Nuts. Then there's the Peanut. The outsider - a BEAN. And guess what, The coffee bean and cacao bean? These are SEEDS!!!

    These botanical properties are incredibly important if you have allergies. Xx
