Lead practitioner utter useless in nhs mental health

What a waste of time and energy getting a lead practitioner. She forgets everything she says she's going to do, doesn't understand me at all . Doesn't like arranging appts unless I remi nd her that we are due one. What is the point of these people?

I'm really distressed and angry about this and it's a real let down after waiting ages for one. Has anyone had any experience of this?

We’ve had various experiences - some terrible admittedly. I will say though that my son is currently having appointments over the phone with an NHS therapist and she really is very kind, supportive and caring and he does feel he benefits from speaking to her. So I think it’s a bit of a lottery.

Yeah, my every interaction with all of them. I don't trust any of them any more.

Honestly, that's not good enough for anyone Autistic or not, but in particular it shows no understanding of Autistic need for dependability, to know exactly what's happening when and why.
