Hi there

I'm wondering what people's experiences are of disclosing their autism to their employer. Please share good and bad if you feel able. Will help me work out my thoughts on it.

  • I told my line manager, he said he was familiar with autism as his son went to a special school. He said he always thought I was on the spectrum. He also recommended talking to a colleague who has a child with autism who requires considerable support.

    So very positive - he had told me about his son before but of course I'd forgotten.
