Hi there

I'm wondering what people's experiences are of disclosing their autism to their employer. Please share good and bad if you feel able. Will help me work out my thoughts on it.

  • Personally I would advise them, specifically the HR dept, disability discrimination act is on your side. If they don't advise your line manager of what they need to do to support you, that's on them. I wish I'd had my diagnosis in 2014, I think my mental breakdown might have been avoided.
