Feeling a bit alone today

Feeling a bit alone today. Need someone to talk to. I am going through a bad burnout since December and just as I thought I was getting better and would be able to return to work I've had a relapse and got worse again. I think I pushed myself before I was ready. Got an appointment at the jobcentre today which Im terrified about, havnt had to go there in years.

Sometimes I just need a few other autistic people to talk to, people that get it

  • Hey. I'm really sorry you are struggling. I'm also in burnout so completely understand. I wasn't able to return to college sadly, maybe next year.

    I think you need to do what's right for you. If you can't manage then it's best to not put pressure on yourself. That will make it a million times worse for you. Be kind to yourself and take it one step at a time. If you can't manage job centre then ring up and explain your situation, or maybe family can do that for you. That's what I do if I can't face something. Forcing yourself into it will do no good.

    Make sure you get plenty of rest as well. Rest is essential to recovering. 

    And try not to worry. Take it one day at a time. Keep smiling xx
