Newly Diagnosed

I had my autism assessment today which was SUCH a validating experience! I was diagnosed with passive autism and formal stilted autism. Can anyone explain what these types are, or point me in the direction of more information?

I had to Google this myself. They are Lorna wing ‘types’…..apparently

Interesting. Kudos to Dr Wing for getting that Kanner's or 'Classic' autism, and Asperger's are different presentations of the same thing. Deep respect to her legacy.

Maybe these are old terms for 'high functioning' ?

Sorry for the late reply. This is what I read first. I also did the survey. I didn’t agree with the result at all. Nothing about the one with the highest percentage is indicative of me, or my traits..!?

I got 60%passive 30% Stilted 10% Aloof. Reading the description I would have thought I was more stilted so not sure what to make of it.
