Monotropism - autistic attention tunnels

I watched this video live last night, it is a brilliant discussion about how monotropism is at the core of autistic experience. Hopefully it may be of interest to fellow autistic people:

This website is also very interesting and useful, it compiles everything you need to know about monotropism and its applications for autistic people:

I hope you gain insight into your monotropic mind.

  • Yes, I could make a post about the Zoom Aucademy social group. I am excited and very much looking forward to joining next week. It will be really nice to be part of an all autistic social group.

If you don’t feel comfortable or feel self conscious using your voice on Zoom, you can always use the chat box or just listen and absorb information- that is participating. Aucademy value all forms of participation- including just being there.

I initially didn’t like using Zoom, but I have become acclimatised now.

Consider Zoom (only if you want to, of course). The autistic only social group could be great.
