Autism recovery day

You have swam with the world of the sharks(nt's)Wink today, you are tired and stress, the next day has to be used as Autism Recovery Day due to stress.

What is your recovery advice ?

  • I'm am relieved to see that other people have recovery days!! I had my first post diagnostic therapy session on Monday and still getting over it! Wasn't impressed to just have to trust somebody I've just met...

  • reading those comments is helping my recovery Laughing

  • I had breakfast and tea with my parents after a lie in.

I then read for four hours.

    Then I had a bath.

I am on the computer while my hair is drying.

In a moment I will walk to the corner shop to buy lunch for tomorrow.

  • Today's hopefully my recovery day after a long week and a massive meltdown yesterday.

I'm doing various bits of cleaning and sorting in my flat, as the more ordered and clean everything is the happier I'll be.

I'm doing a bit more painting in the kitchen, reasons as above.

I'm going to take some stuff to the recycling centre, reasons as above.

I'm going to have coffee with a friend in my favourite cafe: my second social activity I'll have managed in about five weeks.

I've got to go and do some work, but then I can come home and have a nice bath.

I'm going to cook some of my favourite food for dinner, with enough left to avoid having to cook tomorrow evening.

OK, perhaps that's more of a "recovery and make preparations for surviving the next week" day ;).

  • I swam the world of the shark's yesterday.

    Today is Recovery Day -
a.m. a quiet walk in the country-side, with no conversation and peace except for bird song.
    lunch - favourite food.
p.m. some reading and sudoku, to get the brain back on track again.

    It's working already.
