  • Anything involving order and organising, and lone working for the most part. That’s what I’d like, as I’m an introvert. Anything routine based, like replenishing stock might work. Depends if your looking for an easy life, or if you want something challenging.

  • The right type of retail job might be good too. While they can be busy places, there's reliable routine, a need for ordered maintenance of things and so on. I worked in Waterstones in the past, and then the Irish equivalent of W.H. Smiths, and really liked it. Not sure I'd weather the energy drain as effectively now, but you're still young :-)

  • I've found library work to be a sympathetic match. Not without its challenges like any job but the nature of the work, and the environment, make for a good bolthole for introverts, and neurodivergent people of various stripes. Lots of NTs in libraries too, but I think our percentage of non-NTs is a a fraction higher than most professions!
