Hate half-term, a grumpy rant!

I know most kids love it and deserve a break, but as an adult I hate half term. Kids everywhere with their high-pitched shrill voices, crowds of people up town, making every day feel like Saturday. Get the kids back to school, I moan, then I can have my quietude back. Anyone else feel like this?

At least commuting is a lot easier during half term Smile.

Unless you don't drive and have to rely on public transport. On Tuesday, I came back from London, having spent the last few days there. I was sat in the quiet coach of the train. There were parents in there with young children. The children were making a lot of noise and the parents made no effort whatsoever to shut them up.

And the buses were packed too. Whereas normally, it's possible to get a seat.
