Hate half-term, a grumpy rant!

I know most kids love it and deserve a break, but as an adult I hate half term. Kids everywhere with their high-pitched shrill voices, crowds of people up town, making every day feel like Saturday. Get the kids back to school, I moan, then I can have my quietude back. Anyone else feel like this?

  • ..... I remind myself that everyone has a right to live their life and its about finding a way for all people to co-exist. By that I don't mean we have to literally live side by side. If at all possible I avoid the places where kids and crowds are - I go where they are not if I can.......... :)
