I have just started watching the TV show "Derek", having never bothered to watch it when it was first shown on TV. The scence where the council having been inspecting the nursing home and question whether staff member Derek has autism really made me smile, well done Ricky Gervais 
I have only recently realised that I am autistic myself but have not sought to get diagnosed, but of course I respect that others might want an official diagnosis.
