You know if they section you, you won’t get better, it’s like prison. You may not feel safe there either. Your benefits will be put on hold and they won’t bully you into taking pills, they’ll force you. If your sectioned and you upset the staff that look after you daily, it would be difficult to come back from.

Agreed. It's better to take some medication and get some support from Home Treatment rather than being detained which would be much more distressing for you.
I'm alarmed to read that you've been told that you can't call for a while. Did they say how long for? They shouldn't have said that to you. It shouldn't matter how much you call the crisis team have a duty of care to you. If I were you I would complain about this as you shouldn't be pushed aside like that when you clearly require their support and care.
Do you not think, whilst being forced to allow Home Treatment Team in, that this is better than being locked up in a Mental Institution?
I sure as hell would rather be free and have visits than being sectioned

Tried to trick me into GOING to hospital today but I declined

Oh I see, I didn't read that bit. That could be a long wait. The system is very slow especially since Covid happened. I would suggest keeping on at the GP, if the GP chases up the referral it will push him further up the list as hearing from the GP again suggests he still needs help or his situation has worsened and that gives him priority.
From what I can gather, a referral was made by the GP over a month ago, and TARDISSTEVE is now waiting for Social Services to make contact with him.
