Do you work?

Do you work, or study, or just do things around the house?

I'm jobless at the moment. But I am looking for work but I failed at school and have nothing to aid me getting a job. The idea of working makes me so nervous but surviving without income looks hard, and in time I want my own family one day so I need to be able to provide.

I was looking at studying but I'm too nervous and I'm not very good at learning which I guess is why I failed school.

So at the moment I'm just doing things around the house and am trying to better myself Slight smile

  • I'm working again, but it's just another job, qualifications didn't help me get a career one, I come out to weird on interviews I reckon

but I had 2 months unemployed last year, scary prospect as there is nobody to support me, and I have to pay my bills somehow

I'm thinking about becoming writer now, i found out during unemployment last year that I can write :D still question remains how to sell it? Anyway my first book is slowly moving forward.

when I was looking for work I thought it could work for me to become live-in housekeeper, but it's last resort I think

  • I hope you are coping ok in the workplace :) It must be difficult having no support. You can always get support here from me and everyone else if you need to.

Oh wow yes you should definitely consider doing writing as a career! You are clearly very good at it and I'm sure a book by you would be amazing. I think you can sell via Amazon. Also get yourself a social media so you can reach out to lots of people, that should help you a lot. I don't like social media personally but it's a great way of reaching people.

  • longest unemployment I had was almost  a year and I was a case ready for asylum and I like to work, so it's not for me

yes support is a fiction 99% of time

but if you lucky you can get OK deal to start

I start work 2h before store closes, so I don't need to deal with customers much, colleagues, if causing me trouble I start to ignore, it's complicated with managers since you can't avoid them, but luckily they all seem OK for now

worst case scenarios are when you can't avoid stressor

    don't like social media personally

same here, because everyone is spying on you, company you work for, your family and mine isn't nice,
