I'm trying to get back to employment.
Job is in IT as support analyst.
I don't have experience.
They looking for someone with very strong problem solving and pattern recognition, which I excel at.
My supporting statement contains exemples for my problem solving using S.T.A.R system, which I found out about thanks to forum member Chris.
Problem: I suffer from RSD and have feer of failing. Even doubts put my in possition where I withdraw. I really need to succeed. I haven't had a success ever in 18 years of my proffesional 'career' and I know it's a pivotal point where this will change my life, either way...
Any one who is responsible for recruitment in IT or work in IT at managerial position and could give me some private advise? Or where to look for help?
My support statement already has 4 pages and I haven't even finished. My wife said I write to many specifics, to many details but I simply don't know how and what to write.
I can send you, dear person a one exemple of STAR, privately as I want to avoid publicising certain informations, and I would expect a feedback what to change if there is need for change.
Please only serious offers.
Thanks

Update, I just sent it. I'll come back with a shield or on a shield.
Update, I have finished my supporting statement. Total 3.5 a4 pages, with 4 STAR examples, each about 3/5 of a page.
Is it excessive? I'm terrified to send it.
I will look into it as soon as possible. Right now I have to dig myself out of plethora of stacked long procrastinated tasks. I can't accept anything new right now. I appreciate your suggestion immensely.
Somewhat offtopic, but if while you are looking for work you want something to do, IT related, maybe look into this. Not sure if it would lead you into a job, but the exercises in it are useful nevertheless. I've been doing it on and off for a couple of years after reading about it on TheRegister. You have to apply to NAS to get on it. Instructions on the site.
