Gosh I feel so useless. I can't stop crying and keep wondering if my family would be better off without me. I seem to just be a burden.

It's such an awful feeling. It just feels so dark.
Thank you so much. Putting things on here really helps.
Focus on the positives and what you can do
Hey :)
They absolutely wouldn't.
Your mind can do very mean things to you at times and make you believe all sorts of negative things as if they are facts.. They're not facts.
Emotions are funny things but they are a part of being a human. It is good to cry, it gets rid of the stress hormone.
Keep talking about how you're feeling, whether to your family, in a journal or in here. You're not alone.
Look after yourself x
I have been there, it's like no light at the end of the tunnel. But once you start understanding your unique conditions and why you feel the way you feel, it will feel like there's a light bright enough to light your way out the tunnel, but also see the tricky terrain you need to go through too.
keep looking for what you enjoy
When I feel like that. I say I’m being a lemon.
it’s hard to feel like a lemon, sitting around doing nothing.
it’s worse when you feel you contribute nothing of value,
autism can rob you of self confidence, makes it hard to assess our worth with the right perspective.
if you have a family, then with absolute certainty, to them, you aren’t a burden.
