Is this okay?

So I notice that I get upset easily because of my autism when I feel worried if I’m going to hurt a minority by having a political opinion. If I feel like they shouldn’t get mad over something so easily but I know it comes from feeling frustrated because they’re being oppressed. I don’t mean like a black person getting mad over another terrible thing that has happened. I mainly mean when I’m a debate and they get mad and they say to a man for example you can’t have an opinion on @b0rtiOn I feel like what they said is ridiculous because silencing people isn’t going to help us change people’s minds isn’t it? But I know it comes from a place of hurt and being upset but it also hurts my autism and makes me stressed easily to the point where I had so many of these thoughts running through my head I broke down crying and I started to hate life and everything. Yet I still feel worried to have my own opinion on stuff. Please help

  • Well, any topic opened up for a debate or differing opinions is not going to make everyone happy, but for a discussion to take place, people have to be talking, and how can that take place if the other side is silent? Isn't silence the opposite of discussion? And it is often said that "silence is oppression." I don't think any woman wants to be silenced and not have an opinion on an important matter, so why would it be any different for men?
