I have to get a passport photo taken tomorrow for the first time and I'm quite nervous about it. As a trans person I'm already uncomfortable with the way I look, but I especially hate photos. I hate looking directly at the lens and for a passport there's no getting around it, plus there's so many rules about what face you have to make etc. Anyone have any tips of how to get through it?
P.sOn that note God bless Hannah Witheridge.
Your passport photo has to look natural. No makeup,no glasses etc.Just look natural and miserable and your passport will be fine
I had my passport photo taken in a 'Photo-me' booth. Where it is fully automated, there was even a menu option for passport photos and the booth computer indicated if the photo was acceptable for passports and gave me a second chance to take the photo. No people were involved.
