Hi im trying to meet some other people with autism, I am 39 and have only recently found out I'm autistic now so much makes sense to me and I'm really keen to meet people and make friends.

Does anyone have any tips or know any sites to join. I'm having a pretty tough time so someone to chat woth would be most appreciated.

    There is another forum I joined recently called wrong planet. But it's a very dense and sprawling site so I stopped using it after making an introductory message. I don't think there is any magic formula for making friends, unfortunately. Whom we meet and whom we connect with is out of our hands, and down to fate.
