I wouldn't say I'm looking for people to be friends (because that is out of my hands, and the very act of trying to make friends makes people behave inauthentically, or engage in manipulation) but I would say I am looking for people who are friend-ly.

There is another forum I joined recently called wrong planet. But it's a very dense and sprawling site so I stopped using it after making an introductory message. I don't think there is any magic formula for making friends, unfortunately. Whom we meet and whom we connect with is out of our hands, and down to fate.
