He's just started Reception. He's been there 3 days, only for half a day, and they have decided he can't cope with a full day.
Surely we need to try a full day and see how he manages. They don't know him yet and I feel that they are putting everything he does down to autism. He's 4 years old.
The main reason they say is lunchtime and not having enough staff.
A lot of reception children only do half days. my sister did because she was one of the younger children, i did because i struggled with it. so if he does end up doing half days then don't worry about it too much.
