I have a place where young children are encouraged by their parents to go and express themselves and their creativity! Unfortunately, all they do is move stuff about and break things. (Including the surrounding brick walls). This shows me that children need guidance and training, way more than they need "free expression". As does my own childhood, grim as it was in places, I got WAY more value from the woodwork teacher who made me carve a boat out of one big block of wood, whilst teaching how to use the tools correctly, and which tool did what, than I would ever have got if he'd let me do it the way I wanted.
It also showed me that I need to get a ruddy great 8 foot steel palisade fence* and keep those horrible children out. *The sort I can't climb over easily myself, will do I reckon. I've tried negotiation both with the kids and the parents, and it does not seem possible to find a way to share, that doesn't mean my stuff gets damaged and strewn all about and my work reversed when I am not there.
Hippy ideals are great, but they only work when everyone shares them and the group consciousness thus formed, isn't lazy & selfish. Otherwise, "tall fences make for good neighbours". WHEN I have restablished some control over my bit of ground, finished building & securing the facilties I want and put the rest to lawn, then I might let the kids play on it again.
Hahaha thanks, I think lol. Would be nice to have a place for children and young people to go where self expression is encouraged through creativity. Not teaching techniques, just experimenting and being themselves. It's a nice dream.
I would clear my mortgage and fix the problems with the house.
Not very exciting but would rather my kids inheritance didn't fall apart before they got it.
A family holiday would be nice, just at the seaside, nothing fancy.
Would like to be able to start youth groups in my area, if I could put some money in to start it, maybe local businesses would do the same also.
You can invest that to get some % increase maybe 1% increase so that each month you get 10000 dollars and you have finantial freedom if that is satisfying to you if not you can start a business through which you can make 10 million for example and you can get 100000 each month and the best thing about it is that you don't need to move a finger to get the money you want
Making money through investment is stupid because % return is very low and it takes many years to get high value and during that time you get old but if you already have high value investment can be a good way to secure your pleasureable lifestyle
Well I for one identify as 'a bit simple' so your apparent attempt at belittling me falls flat I'm afraid.
Ah, it's something I've grown into rather than away from over the years. Cookies, brownies, candies and other edibles are all a great experience and a great help!
I want (for personal & artistic reasons) to commission someone to build me a forty foot grey cube on a piece of land I own, with the top being retractable, also for artistic and personal reasons, and there being an armoured access gate with included personnel door in one corner, for me to load the contents or myself in as required for the long part of the Artistic/Autistic installation.
I would call it "Freedom".
Cultrually/Artistically, it poses the question of why one needs to hide behind huge grey walls to obtain a true sense of "Freedom"...
I am pretty sure there would be some left over cash for good causes or the people I love, etc.
Now THAT's an interesting (and top quality) reply. I can get a lightly damaged well maintained excavator for 2.5K currently.
I just want to drive an excavator for a while and a short course costs about the same as a used minidigger or the 13 tonne beast I have my eye on.
Thanks for the clarification.
I always assume honesty, since it's my preferred "default setting", and it made you look "a bit simple" if one took it literally...
I actually looked at your profile to see if you live near me. I just LOVE combining cake with cannabis... Finding anyone to eat the finished item with me, has become impossible since all my friends "Grew up"..
